Missy Macabre is the ultimate Fakir Fatale. Dubbed as 'Sideshow Royalty' by British press - Missy is renowned for bringing both class and elegance to the international world of Circus Sideshow and Cabaret. Thoroughly decadent - with a spectacular display of couture costumes, fearlessness and unique stunts such as the 'Bath of Broken Glass'  Missy can easily claim to be the most diligent of female fakirs working in Europe today. Her stunts are executed with poise, confidence and skill. Her shows embody the romanticism of traditional travelling circuses of yesteryear, fused with the ethereal glamour of Weimar cabaret of 1920s Berlin.

For those of you who have been reading the Finnish news recently, you would have noticed a lot of fuss about this lady! Lucky recently performed a successful flesh suspension from a crane over a lake in Helsinki to raise awareness for animal rights in Finland.

Lucky is Finland's only female sword swallower — an ancient art that is rarely resurrected in the 21st Century, she's a modern fakir, presenting her death defying stunts to international audiences with a luxurious, louche appeal seldom seen in today's cabaret underworld! 

We can't wait to see what she'll come up with for October's Champagne Circus, but here's a few teasers from her previous performances:

THE SIDESHOW SWEETHEART! Missy Macabre will be breaking hearts and bottles on stage at the Champagne Circus, and we can't wait! Missy is an international circus sideshow performer hailing from London, UK.

Dubbed as ‘Sideshow Royalty’ by UK press, Missy is renowned for bringing class and elegance to the world of Circus Sideshow – a world where such aesthetics are often neglected. Missy is intent on constantly pushing the creative boundaries of sideshow art, focusing on theatricality, hilarity, eroticism, and juxtaposition. She is renowned for her incredibly unique and innovative combination of sideshow stunts, theatricality and amazing vintage inspired costumes on stage, and for shows such as  “The Bath of Broken Glass”.

Missy performs acrobatic routines in bath tubs full of broken glass, sits inside boxes of nails, boxes of broken glass, stands on beds of nails, and dances on broken glass. She performs the human blockhead, mental floss, human chopping board. She can eat broken glass, put cigars out on her tongue, and is an extremely capable fire performer! 

The Baron

The Finnish Prince of Hearts, the Scandinavian strongman! The Baron! The Baron will be lifting 30KG of cold, solid steel from his nipples. A feat rarely achieved in today's contemporary circus world. And, not only will he be lifting weight from his nipples, ears, nose... and EYES - The Baron will also be charming the ladies, the gentlemen and anyone in between, as he casually hammers 4inch nails into his nasal cavity whilst sporting his notorious leopard skin pants.

The Baron is one of our favourite classic Sideshow performers of all time. His presentation skills have brought countless, international audiences back to the time when performing was without a doubt, about showmanship, and skill.

Having toured 'The Old World' for over ten years, having this legendary circus veteran on the Stage at Vanha Ylioppilastalo will be an honour and a privilege indeed!
