A highly respected and accomplished artist who has performed throughout Australia, Asia, The Middle East and Europe. Ari is an aerial master,and his skills range from; aerial silk, spanish web, corde lisse, static trapeze and aerial ring to harness work, fire and pole dance.

Ari presents his performances with dexterity, power and grace.

Performing breathtaking drops with fluid movement, working through mind-bending aerial routines with explosive energy as he falls and effortlessly catches himself mid-air. 

He is beautiful, captivating and talented. 

Lada Redstar!

Here we have another larger than life character performing for us all at October's Champagne Circus! The lascivious Lada Redstar!

Lada is glamour personified. She's quite simply fabulous, and is one of the most influential burlesque artists of her generation - her couture costumes are outstanding. And, she has the intimate, timeless sex appeal akin to the classic divas of the silver screen. She's the ultimate showgirl. 
In Burlesque you can't be sexy, or entertaining without a touch of dry humour, poise and timing. Lada has all three down to a very fine art indeed! 

For the Champagne Circus, Lada Redstar will be performing two very special acts that haven't yet been seen in Helsinki:

Ophelia Bitz!

For all of you who attended April's Champagne Circus you would have encountered a larger than life character, notorious for her heathen sense of humour, and wicked, wicked ways. 
Our Ring Mistress Ophelia Bitz is back in Helsinki on October 8th bringing with her more sordid tales of desire, depravity, and songs of seduction and scandal, whilst maintaining her enviable charisma and dashing sense of humour.
We are SO excited to have her back, she was one of the stars of April's show, and she hasn't let us forget it in a hurry. I'm sure those in attendance will remember Bitz's kiwi fruit exploits for a very long time to come, indeed...


Not only is Ophelia Bitz an international show girl of the highest esteem. She also has recently won a flying gold penis trophy at The Erotic Awards, London for Sexy Comedienne of the year! 


(The Erotic Awards are run by charity Outsiders, to celebrate sex workers, activists, writers and artists, and to raise awareness of the rights of people with physical disabilities. Founded by Tuppy Owens the awards serve as a fund-raiser and party.)


Ophelia produces a phenomenal cultural event celebrating sexual diversity, antique pornography, ethical consumption of contemporary pornography , cabaret and comedy! The event is called ArtWank, and you can read more about it here; ART WANK!!!!

For those of you who have been reading the Finnish news recently, you would have noticed a lot of fuss about this lady! Lucky recently performed a successful flesh suspension from a crane over a lake in Helsinki to raise awareness for animal rights in Finland.

Lucky is Finland's only female sword swallower — an ancient art that is rarely resurrected in the 21st Century, she's a modern fakir, presenting her death defying stunts to international audiences with a luxurious, louche appeal seldom seen in today's cabaret underworld! 

We can't wait to see what she'll come up with for October's Champagne Circus, but here's a few teasers from her previous performances:

The Champagne Circus is fast approaching, and we're SO excited about it!


As you probably know, the cast is outstanding, and the venue is exquisite, we're so proud to be bringing the finest in international circus and cabaret to Helsinki!


I have a few things to mention:


I will stop taking table reservations next THURSDAY, so if you want to guarantee yourself and your friends a good seat, please let me know before then by emailing me at: m.macabre@hotmail.com.


(There will still be tables left on the night, but these will be on a first come, first served basis.)

Atelieri O. Haapala joins the CIRCUS!

Cabinet portraits were a cultural phenomenon of the late Victorian age. Portraits of the upper classes were taken by established photographers, so that they could be swapped amongst friends and family as keepsakes.


At the Champagne Circus, we are privileged to have two of Helsinki's finest photographers Marco Melander and Saara Salmi and their Cabinet portrait studio; Atelieri O. Haapala.
For the Champagne Circus, Atelieri O. Haapala have a new Victorian themed Circus photo-set with and hand painted backdrop and costumes for you to have your photo taken in! And, if you feel the need, they have a selection of hats and various props, to make the photo feel even more authentic!


The photos from The Champagne Circus/Atelieri O. Haapala will yours to keep, and will also be part of a nation-wide collection of modern cabinet portraiture!

Empress Stah

For those of you who don't know about Empress Stah, you should. We're so excited to have her perform at The Champagne Circus!

Empress Stah is an internationally renowned, award winning, Aerial Artist, Neo Cabaret Performer and Show Producer, whose signature performance is ‘Swinging from the Chandelier’.

Famed for her incredibly stylish, provocative and controversial style of show - Stah has toured the world with her repertoire of unique acts as well as producing her own sell out cabaret extravaganzas in London and on tour, most notably  ‘The Very Best of Empress Stah’.

‘Swinging from the Chandelier’ is Stah’s signature performance for which she received a Jerwood Circus Award and enjoyed a sold out run of shows at The Circus Space, London. 


She has performed for Damien Hirst & Harvey Nichols, shared the bill with Dita Von Teese and Cirque Du Soleil and made guest appearances at The Box in NYC, La Clique and The Brit Awards.
Stah's international touring has taken her from London to Moscow, Tokyo, New York, San Francisco, Australia, Singapore, Fort Lauderdale, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Liechtenstein, Austria, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Ireland, Scotland and all over England.

Empress Stah has recently completed a research project supported by The Arts Council of England, to develop a new solo show that explores the themes of Space and Evolution, this show is inspired by her current ambition to perform in Zero Gravity and visit the International Space Station...

Missy Macabre - The Sideshow Sweetheart!

THE SIDESHOW SWEETHEART! Missy Macabre will be breaking hearts and bottles on stage at the Champagne Circus, and we can't wait! Missy is an international circus sideshow performer hailing from London, UK.

Dubbed as ‘Sideshow Royalty’ by UK press, Missy is renowned for bringing class and elegance to the world of Circus Sideshow – a world where such aesthetics are often neglected. Missy is intent on constantly pushing the creative boundaries of sideshow art, focusing on theatricality, hilarity, eroticism, and juxtaposition. She is renowned for her incredibly unique and innovative combination of sideshow stunts, theatricality and amazing vintage inspired costumes on stage, and for shows such as  “The Bath of Broken Glass”.

Missy performs acrobatic routines in bath tubs full of broken glass, sits inside boxes of nails, boxes of broken glass, stands on beds of nails, and dances on broken glass. She performs the human blockhead, mental floss, human chopping board. She can eat broken glass, put cigars out on her tongue, and is an extremely capable fire performer!

Escape Artiste extraordinaire! Mr. Flay is truly irrepressible and, quite possibly invincible. For, he can easily catch a flying bullet between his teeth, escape from numerous handcuffs, straitjackets, medical body-bags and mailbags whilst still being a perfect (English) gentleman of the highest decree. 
Edwin pays homage to the heyday of magic, vaudeville and cabaret by presenting dramatic, traditional stunts in his unique, contemporary style. 
Edwin has performed at many prestigious cabaret and theatrical events across the UK and Europe with artist Tracey Emin once shooting him in the face.
